Diana Frances Spencer was born on the 1st of July 1961. Diana had two sisters and one brother. She was the fourth child in her family. Princess Diana didn’t have a perfect childhood, her parents were divorced when she was very young. Even though her childhood was a hard time for her, she grew up to become a fine woman. When she was young she had a nickname called “Dutch”, which was given to her because when she was young she always played as a Duchess. Princess Diana loved music. She loved children too. As for her career, she did several jobs but finally, she became a nursery school teacher.
Princess Diana met Prince Charles (The Prince of Wales) when she was sixteen. Within a few years, they began to have a close relationship with each other. On the 24th February 1981, the happy couple got engaged and in the same year on 29th of July, they got married. After a few years, on the 21st of June 1982, she gave birth to her first child Prince Williams. In 1984 she gave birth to Prince Harry. She was known as a good mother who loved her children very much. During this time Princess Diana’s life began to change. The royal couple didn’t have a good time together with each other. After a few years, they separated and in 1996 they got divorced.
Even though she had a hard time in her life she never stopped her work for people. She helped a lot of ill patients in various hospitals. Diana helped HIV-positive patients, even though at that time it was called an infectious disease. She started a campaign to ban landmines, which were a major reason for numerous deaths. She dedicated her time to Cancer hospitals never asking the media attention. Several hospital staff workers say that she comes to see patients even in the evening, without making a big fuss in the media.
The media always tried to hurt her but she never fell down from them. Even after the divorce, she was never afraid to face the public. The royal family had several issues with her because of her free-spirited confidence. On the 31st of August 1997, she died in a car accident which shocked people all over the world. In Britain, thirty-two million people watched Princess Diana’s funeral. Millions of people all around the world also have watched this sorrowful event.
Princess Diana was a legend. Her confidence, her passion, her strong spirit were the characteristics that made Princess Diana special. There are more than 202 books written about Princess Diana. She is a beautiful memory that is hard to forget. The whole world would never forget her beautiful smile engraved with loving kindness to all.
