On a balcony in summer air”

Taylor Alison Swift was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on 13th December, 1989, to Andrea Gardner and Scott Kingsley Swift. Her father earned his living as a stockbroker while her mother was a housewife who raised up Taylor and her younger brother, Austin Swift. An amazing fact of her family is that her grandmother was a professional opera singer and Taylor herself followed her grandmother’s musical footsteps later on.

But her father transferred to Nashville so he can easily assist his daughter’s budding career. Then, she was enlisted in “Aron Academy” and was home schooled.

Her musical career expanded as shperformed at events and worked with songwriters such as Brett Beavers, Mac McAnally and Liz Rose. In 2005, as she performed at the “Bluebird Cafe”, Scott Botchetta who was then a DreamWorks Records executive, was impressed by Taylor and immediately signed her up.

In 2006, Taylor released her first single, “Tim McGraw” and the song reached the Top 10 hit on the country charts. It was told that she wrote that song in a math class when she was recalling her senior year boy friend.
